LTLYM, Ignite Phoenix and a new pinhole portrait

This is the lovely Howard Family. Emily, the one on the right, surprised her mom (for mother’s day) with a family portrait by Gary and myself. Obviously Gary did all the digital work and I did the pinhole. The girl on the left is my sister, Sabrina, and next to her is her husband Tony. Mom is next and then Sara. My sister married into a wonderful family.

I’m going to be part of a really neat new event in Phoenix called Ignite Phoenix. The LTLYM exhibit opened in Middlesbrough, UK, last week and I’ve heard there is interest in a few of my pieces. I did assignment number 27: Take a picture of the sun. In fact I sent over 16 sunburst pinhole photographs. Nicky (check out her flickr, her photographs are amazing) was kind enough to send me over a few photographs of the exhibit (The little square white frames belong to me):

I think that might be all my good pinhole photo news.  And for one non-pinhole news… have you ever seen the tv show LOST?  My friend told Gary and I that we would love it, we started watching season 1 on Saturday and finished it last night.  Yes, we spent like 20 hours watching LOST and tonight we’ll start season 2!  Katie was right, we are totally loving it!
