What are you doing for Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day!  It’s less than a week away!  When I think about my favorite holiday I get super giddy!  It will be my last Sunday in Arizona so I would like to head out into the desert and say goodbye to the city I’ve loved for the last 5 years.

Gary and I love Couchsurfing. It’s the greatest website. We’ve hosted travelers and have used it during out travels. Everyone we’ve met is super nice and full of terrific stories. This is us couchsurfing, on a bunk bed, in Oxnard, California. This house was incredible and right on the beach!

I’m having a final moving sale tomorrow morning from 6am to noon. I’ll be doing it with some of my neighbors so there will be lots of stuff!

If you want to come say bye to me, I’d love to see you. I am leaving Phoenix on Tuesday April 28th. For those of you in Concordia, Missouri, I’ll be home from April 29th to May 8th. Then I leave for Suwon, South Korea! I’ll be teaching English. I’m thrilled and cannot wait for my adventure to start.

The garage/moving sale will have SO MUCH stuff for super super super cheap. Including kitchen stuff, clothes (from 4 different people, men and women, all sizes), books galore, art supplies, photo frames, home furnishings, vintage hats, purses, feather boas, etc. etc. etc. I have a couple of pinhole photos left as well if you’re interested in adding some art to your collection. Also totally random stuff like expired film, a box of unused CFL’s, photo paper, etc. etc. etc. Oh yes, and a jar for donations in case you feel like giving me a $1, to reach my goal. I’m almost there, so that’s the good news!

The drive from Phoenix to LA can be a little boring, but then you hit the windmill farms. I look forward to those for the whole drive. Miles and miles of gorgeous alternative energy generators.

I’ll be leaving Phoenix very soon.  I’m going to Concordia, Missouri to visit my family for two weeks and then I leave for Suwon, South Korea on May 10th.  Words really cannot describe my excitement for this adventure.

I just developed 30 rolls of pinhole film, so check back daily for new pinhole images.

****If you live in Phoenix, my neighbors and I are having a garage sale on Saturday April 18th from 6am to noon.  We tried having it last Saturday but after 3 hours and no customers, we realized the rain won, and I jumped back in bed and watched old foreign films all day.

My address is 4950 E Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ 85008.  We’ll be in garage number 5, right by the west gate of the complex.

LOTS of stuff.  It’s a 4 person garage sale sooooo… lots of books, lots of housewares, lots of clothes (all sizes, men and women), lots of art supplies, lots of frames, art, some restaurant equipment, and lots of totally random stuff.
